Yoga Asana Comparison - Which Ones Are Right For You?

What's the point of doing a free asana comparison if all it's going to bring you is some pretty pictures that don't really help you in any way? Yoga is a very physical practice and can really help you get in better shape. But it is also a very mind-based art and discipline. Asanas are meant to relax your body and mind, and yoga teachers will never tell you to perform certain asanas until you feel ready for them. If you go to one of the more popular online yoga sites, such as "The Padastra" or "Yoga Made Simple", you will find that there is an entire chapter devoted to showing off different asanas that are available for practice. So how exactly do you know which ones are right for you?

When I first started doing yoga, the free asana comparison I did was not helpful at all. All I got was some pretty pictures and some "before and after" photos that were not specific to what I was doing. I wasn't even sure if there were other asanas that I could do, so this wasn't going to be a very effective exercise program. But then I discovered something really interesting: yoga exercises aren't always in the form you think they should be.

You see, there are certain asanas that help you perform certain yoga poses, but there are also some other ones that aren't so useful. For instance, when I was doing my free asana comparison, I came across a website that compared yoga positions. They had a huge list of different yoga positions, listed in alphabetical order. And from there, I was able to choose different asanas to practice. This was so much better than my free asana comparison at all.

Now the thing is, yoga asana comparisons can be kind of pointless when you're looking at them like that. When you really think about it though, it makes sense. Most of the yoga positions that are listed are going to be useful, and most of the positions that aren't are going to be completely pointless. When you're doing an asana comparison, you're not really looking at the whole picture. You're looking at a few of the poses, and maybe one or two of the positions.

Because yoga is such a dynamic art, it allows you to change the way that you feel on a moment-to-moment basis. If you're doing a pose that you don't feel particularly happy about, you can switch to a pose that feels better for you. If you're in a particularly bad mood, you can simply switch from doing yoga asana to doing some breathing exercises. But you can't just take your yoga classes and expect things to change because you feel bad.

Free Asana Comparison Tips: Asana comparisons are great if you have a bit of time, but you need to look at the big picture. If you're feeling as though you need to do a few poses a day, or if you want to get in shape, yoga asana is perfect for that. On the other hand, if you're looking to get in better physical shape or to manage your stress levels, you might find that other exercises work better. So make sure that you know what you want out of the various yoga asanas before you do any free asana comparisons. Do that and you'll be able to quickly figure out which ones are going to be the best match for you!
